When to go?
The best deals in Punta Cana are found in the off-season windows of May, June, September and October. With the vast number of hotel rooms in Punta Cana, you'll probably still find a room even if you're booking for the high season of November through April. Between June and November, you'll be taking your chances with the rains.

Where to stay?
Punta Cana is heavily populated with all-inclusive resorts that include one or more of the following amenities: casino, golf course, nightclub, spa, children's activities club, tennis courts, swim-up bar and unlimited water sports. It's probably easiest to simply choose your lodging based on what activities are most important to you and what you're willing to pay for your vacation.

What to do?
Punta Cana-Bávaro has the longest stretch of sand and beach in the Caribbean, and a wide variety of activities to go with it. Whether you want to sip a screwdriver surfside or go windsurfing, play volleyball or 18 holes, go deep sea diving or get deep into your vacation reading, it's all close by. Dominicans do like to party and dance, so you'll find a lively nightlife scene inside the resorts.
