I went to Quepos Costa Rica on the southern coast for 10 nights and had a great time!! The area was close to Manuel Antonio State Park that was beautiful!! We did a canopy tour that was about $90pp but worth every penny. The beach was about 1 or 2 miles from the resort we stayed at but was real easy to get to. Jump in a cab for about $4 or $5 and took the bus back for less than $1. We stayed at a place called Hotel Plinio. Check out their websites at; www.hotelplinio.com and www.pliniopark.com. I am in the travel business and had the most fun outside of the U.S when I was in Costa Rica.

  4. Costa Rica v Aruba Says:

My wife and I are planning a 5-day vacation in eary November and can’t decide between Aruba and Costa Rica. We would like to spend most of the time just relaxing on the beach/at the pool but would also like to spend one or two days doing something a bit more adventurous/recreational. We are from NYC, so we would prefer to go somewhere that is not completely deserted and has a variety of places to go/things to do, though we are not looking for wild nightlife. Does anyone have advice? Thanks.
